I woke up at 9am and my aunt already at my house to pick me up and go bowling--sort of a charity event. First we went to Oakridge and Target to buy two blankets to donate to the poor and then we headed off to Oakridge Lanes! I haven't been there since the renovations and now it's helluh nice. It was my second time bowling, and I didn't do too bad for my second time! I got a 95 on my first game under the name of Matthew--I shall say that game was my warm up game. My second game, I ended up with a 128 under the name Travis Wall. I'll upload a picture later for proof. Apparently, there's some magic in this name, or maybe he bowls a lot in Virginia.
After bowling, I went with my aunt to Toys R Us. I didn't find anything amusing to play with, which sort of makes me sad; I used to love playing with toys. Eh, so we left and went to Cost Plus World Market. Boy, I love all the imports they carry! Bought myself peach Jones soda and looked at candy. I was going to buy swedish fish but realized I could just get them cheaper at Safeway. I was also tempted to buy a bottle of Torani. Then, off to my grandparent's house.
Ate lunch, watched TV, MySpaced, and rested. Then I headed home at 4.
I took a shower got dressed. My parents took me to Pizza My Heart to chillax with Idance before the show.
-------and the fun begins!
I walked into the facility and saw a bunch of Idancers already there. I sat down with Jade and her parents. (: She has some of the nicest parents. "MOMMY I WANT ICE CREAM." Then Jade kicked her parents out of the booth and made them sit in the next one. I ate my slice of pizza with her waiting for other dancers to come and join us. Eventually other people came, and then Dodd sat with us. She was showing pictures of her dead cat to us while I was eating. I love this group of people; they're so fun to be around. Then at one point everyone left me and Jade at the booth again so we decided to get up and go to Ben and Jerry's for ice cream--started the band wagon and everyone followed us. I love ice cream, ordered myself a huge ass large cone w/ cookies and cream.
"It's not always about size, Andrew!" - ANGELIC. Oh you dirty girl.
Everyone hung out and socialized outside for awhile then we head off to SJSU for the sjDANCEco show.
Highlights of the concert:
1. I like the way Dance Paws look on the feet. They look comfortable and not easily rippable. I might just get myself a pair soon.
2. Everyone had their crazy intepretations of the dances. I liked the provocative Spanish-like dance. Man, I loved the girls' skirts. They were like two-layered and coooooool looking when they were spinning.
3. Some people had such pretty feeeet.
4. I overheard Nhan Ho vietnamesing it out with his family after the concert. Haha, it was cool!
5. I liked the Jack Johnson chair dance, that was the shit.
